I think having merchandise tailored specifically to students within Zarb is a great idea. It is an amazing opportunity for more students to get involved through the internship experience. Because of this, we know that students are putting out ideas that other college students will like. I do agree that the location of the store is a bit of a challenging factor. Not many students make their way over to Guthart Hall which affects the amount of attention the store receives. With that, I have seen more promotions such as those on Instagram which will hopefully give the store more traction. Overall, I think the Zarb Store wants to grow and improve, so I am excited to see what the future holds!

Very cool concept being not only Hofstra merchandise but being specifically Zarb school merchandise. On top of that, it being student run which has earned my respect. With that being said, the placement of the store is not the most optimal because not many student use the corridor to go from C.V Starr to the business building which is where the store is located. I can see this causing a lack of traffic and popularity with the store. On the other hand, due to the store being student run this has caused a lot of positive ideas from those who most understand the student body. I feel the dog is a fun and friendly way to get people to stop in. Overall I think the store can defiantly make improvements but with it being such a new addition to the Zarb school, it has a very bright future ahead.

As a member of the Hofstra community, I've frequented the student-run Zarb-branded merchandise store and have mixed feelings about my experience. While I appreciate the initiative and effort put into offering exclusive items, there are areas that could significantly elevate the store's appeal. The store provides Zarb-branded merchandise, but unfortunately, the product range is limited compared to the offerings at the Student Center. There's a noticeable absence of that vibrant, youthful vibe that resonates with the younger demographic. One major aspect that needs addressing is the pricing. The prices seem to be on the higher end, making it less accessible for many students. To truly engage the community, the store could consider offering discounts, occasional sales, or loyalty programs to incentivize purchases. There's a great opportunity here for the store to engage students more actively. Hosting events like ice cream socials, spin-the-wheel games with prizes, or meetups could attract more attention and create a buzz around the store. These initiatives could drive traffic and increase sales significantly. Furthermore, the store's marketing strategy could use a boost. More frequent and engaging posts on social media platforms showcasing new products, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and student testimonials could generate more interest and awareness among the student body. Organizing giveaways or contests on these platforms could also help in spreading the word and attracting a larger audience. In summary, the Zarb-branded merchandise store has potential, but it requires some enhancements to truly cater to the vibrant spirit of the Hofstra community. With a more diverse product range, student-friendly pricing, engaging events, and a stronger online presence, this store has the opportunity to become a hub of student activity and enthusiasm.

The visit to the Zarb store was a very average experience. While it was very cool that it was student -run, it did feel like it lacked the extra "wow factor" of nice displays, display of merchandise, and overall aesthetic. The merchandise way laid out in a nice fashion, and appeared to be clean an orderly, but did not have the same effect as a higher-end store in a mall, for example. The store dog was.a great touch, however. Overall, the Zarb Store checked all the necessary boxes, but can improve its overall aesthetic to encourage customers to view it as more of a real shopping experience, rather than a regular bookstore.

The Zarb store is a great opportunity for students to practice the skills they have learned to run a business. The structure similar to a corporate setting allows students to step into a low risk internship before heading out to the big leagues. The store offers a wide variety of products relating to the business school for students to be able to show their pride. As with any student run business, there will be pain points, but these are useful for students to be able to learn how to solve problems in real life. I recommend taking advantage of signage and social media to help get more people into the store.

My visit to the Zarb Store was a pleasant one. The students working were very polite and engaged in conversation as soon as I entered. I enjoyed walking around and checking out the different merchandise. The coffee mugs were my favorite, since they seemed like they were very high quality mugs. I unfortunately missed the store mascot, I guess I didn't notice him by the window when I entered. Although I liked how the store is tucked away, I can understand how that would be bad for business. Nothing some signs can't fix. The store was very clean but it could use some more decorations.

As today i get a chace to visit the Zerb store, i enjoyed the tour very much. The stroe is organized in a very appealing way. it was good to know that the store offers 50% discount on special days which is a great opportunity for us to buy the products from the store also i got to know about the marketing departments of the Store which are 1. Communication, 2. Social Media, 3. Strategizing, 4 Buying and 5. Even Planning i found them quite interesting also the as they are active on the social media as well as they are on instagram, facebook, twitter and Linkedln which is a very strengthening step in todays digital marketing era. But i think Zerb Store can keep the store open on other days as well so that the students can buy them when ever they needed and also they can open an online store from where student can order and get delivery as well.

Entering the Zarb Store was an inspirational experience, reminding me of a secure spot on campus. The cozy space boasted an array of Zarb Store-branded merchandise, from hoodies adorned with the Zarb Business school name to coffee mugs featuring the school name and mom/dad merchandise. The carefully curated selection created a personal shopping environment, but the small area sometimes made it challenging to navigate during peak hours. Despite its size, the Zarb store offers a charming and personalized selection of universities to remind you of a Hofstra student. There is a lot of school spirit at the Zarb store.
